‘Huts in The Woods’ is a minimal intervention and low-budget construction in creating the Hong Kong House via a responsive approach towards its cultural and natural context, resulting in a symbolic yet humble outlook and nurturing a common ground for incubation of ideas.

While keeping and repairing most of the original wood structures for both economic and historical values, ‘branches’ of secondary supports are added in creating a forest-like image through the interplay and layering of shadow and light.
