With the emergence of vertical take-off landing (VTOL) technology, the silent superconductor engines and the super-commuters as a new generation of workforce, this thesis titled Air Frontier attempts to speculate on a new type of future air infrastructure and urbanism that subverts the Aerotropolist notion of a centralized mega-airport by challenging the mega-flat airport typology in order to reintegrate the airport as an international hub with the city as a regional infrastructural hub.
